Sinds 2021 onderzoekt de Nederlandse orde van advocaten (NOvA) in een experiment of advocaten ook kunnen werken binnen organisaties die niet uitsluitend in handen zijn van advocaten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Het <em>Financieele Dagblad<\/em> beschrijft hoe BrandMR en VvAA Legal als eerste uitdagers van het traditionele model gebruikmaken van die mogelijkheid en welke discussie dat binnen de advocatuur oproept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Voor BrandMR draait die vernieuwing vooral om toegang tot het recht voor mensen met een middeninkomen. Een grote groep verdient te veel om voor gesubsidieerde rechtsbijstand in aanmerking te komen, terwijl traditionele juridische dienstverlening door hoge en moeilijk voorspelbare kosten niet altijd een aantrekkelijk alternatief is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Peter Hoitinga Marketing bij BrandMR, stelt in het FD dat bestaande toetredingsdrempels innovatie en concurrentie in de advocatuur kunnen beperken. Nieuwe bedrijfsmodellen kunnen juist ruimte bieden voor schaal, technologie en een andere manier van organiseren met als doel juridische dienstverlening toegankelijker en betaalbaarder te maken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Het experiment raakt daarmee aan een fundamentelere vraag dan wie eigenaar mag zijn van een advocatenkantoor:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Hoe ziet de advocatuur eruit als we de toegankelijkheid voor de klant als uitgangspunt nemen en van daaruit het bedrijfsmodel opnieuw ontwerpen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-section-intro-description ext-animate--on has-foreground-alt-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-top:24px\">Dat is niet alleen een juridische of maatschappelijke vraag.
